in the mail

volumes of poetry
arrived in the mail
taken aback
by ephemeral beauty
I marvel at the postage

  1. It's amazing to see a photo of a book recently airmailed up there on the internet so soon! A fan of your poetry, Willie, and your faithfulness to 'PLACE', I guess you'll find the eponymous section in 'Enhaiklopedia' quite interesting, certainly for its variety of approach.

  3. So glad you recently ordered some new Hailstone books from Hisashi, Bandit. Thank you! Yeah, the stamps look nice. I appreciate your words (over at the Icebox) about how the site has been of continuing interest and comfort to you.
After a very severe winter, I now hear raindrops ringing against my night windowpane. They are being blown here on a spring wind. May a similar shower reach you, too, soon ...

  5. (I've been promising to buy books since - 9 years!)
I think Hisashi was puzzled by the Iron Moon. John (Carley) thought I'd created a new kigo - it must have been big in ... the curry mile! That's it - heartburn ..!
