Why North Dakota?
Open country - nature and stuff to observe and write about. And they're putting up 13,000 new homes this summer near the oil fields.
Picked up an RV and looking for a trailer for tools and equipment. Trying to leave this weekend.
I'll be self-contained. Might even come to LA to visit my sister. Got some baby nieces and nephews I've never met. Hell, didn't know I had a sister until 4 years ago. It's a long-ish story.
Read any good books lately?
13,000 homes should keep you out of trouble over the summer. I just finished Wolf Hall, which won the Man Booker prize not too long ago. I didn't really like it, and usually when I don't like a book I stop reading it before I get even past a chapter or two. But here's the thing: The main character kind of got in my head.
Good journey, Bandit.
