Genjuan Contest 2021 and the passing of Hisashi Miyazaki

Dear haiku friends,

I hope you are finding some light in 2020 after all?
I bring you two news items in case you might individually wish to know or in case you might be in a position to inform others in due course.

Firstly, and happily, the Genjuan Haibun Contest will accept up to 2 email entries for 2021 from Dec. 1st onwards and there is a new officer. All details may be read in our new Guidelines here:

Secondly, and very sadly, my dear friend and for many years fellow judge of the Contest, Hisashi Miyazaki, has recently passed away in Osaka. I already miss him greatly. He was a great worker on the bridge between Japan and the West. A short tribute is here:

Thank you in advance for spreading this news to others whom you think might be interested.
With very best wishes,
Stephen Gill (Tito)
